Frisco road to beach run

Another relatively relaxing run - out and back
I worked very hard to keep my heart rate down - average was 155 which is entirely too high for this pace - I ran this in 1:02, which included a ton of walking and beach running.

Afterward I came back to the house and went straight to bed. Either I have a virus in the head or I got too hot on the run...

Frisco nice and easy

Ran 4 miles with the family - took it nice and easy - enjoyed running in the sand.

Ran with Josh at a 'fast for me, slow for him' conversational pace. I needed to do a long run and surprisingly 6.2 miles just doesn't qualify for that anymore so we met before the race and logged 1.7 miles before the race. Was good to catch up and spend a couple of hours together.

I was planning to do a 3 mile run before the race but Josh had a great idea of a different route cuz he 'knows the park so well' and was concerned - guess not Josh, your route was too short - next time I won't listen!

Never-the-less - I was happy to run with Josh and have the encouragement to run 59:31 at a 9:35 pace - 0:14 better than my 10K. We agreed on a new challenge for us going forward starting tomorrow with 100 situps and 30 pushups twice daily.

NYRR Dash 10K

Ran with Brian at a very relaxed conversational pace.
Heart rate was still too high at 155, but low enough, I guess. It's a lot of work to go this pace and it felt brutal going down hill - seemed like not enough carry and use of the momentum.

Still I'm happy that I got to run with Brian, and with the two miles that we ran before hand, this wasn't a bad way to spend my morning.
